Our quality and service were rewarded at HP Channel Partner Awards

Aptronics receives HPE Award

Aptronics shone bright at the HP Channel Awards 2014, held at HP Rivonia on 20 November 2014. The company walked away with three awards.

  • HP Thin Client & Virtualisation Partner of the year 2014
  • Richard Blewitt – Outstanding HP Channel Champion of the year 2014
  • Adele Schoonwinkel – Outstanding HP Services Channel Champion 2014

The event was held to recognise HP partners for their outstanding achievements. It marked the hardware giant’s 75th anniversary as a global driver of technology innovation.

According to Aptronics CEO, Appie Pema, the company’s presence at the event was symbolic of the strong partnership between the two companies: “For over 20 years, we’ve been right there at HP’s side. We’re proud to partner with a brand that has such a long history of technological leadership.”

“At Aptronics, we’ve always been dedicated to delivering the best possible level of service,” says Pema. “HP has exceptionally high standards of quality, so this recognition affirms we’re on the right track.”

The HP awards are the latest in a long string of vendor achievements reflecting the quality and service ethos ingrained into Aptronics DNA.

“We don’t believe in winning awards and sitting back,” says Pema. “We’re committed to excellence throughout the year, every year.”

Dear Mr Pema

I have seen yon appear on the Big Small Business Show.
As a fellow Indian you instill a sense of pride as I identified with you and your values and leadership qualities you bring to the business world.
I strongly agree a company cannot be built on product. Products may help to get your foot in the door, but it is the mutual beneficial relations that you create, is what grows your company and allows you to survive during hard times when your competitors close shop.

I studied Computer Science at UDW (1991) my first job was at Standard Bank as a Systems Analyst Programmer. I have over 25 years experience in IT of which 15 has been in Line Management and Project Management. I leave Standard Bank having gained a lot of co-operate experience, this month as a Project Manager. I hope to put into practice my Entrepreneurial calling that was held in captivity for far too long.

Having a vast general IT back ground and a keen follower in IT trends I would be putting my money on areas such as Cloud Computing, Data Mining/ BI and Big Data Solutions. If we can reduce the IT spend for companies and streamline processes making them smart processes, then we have a winning formulae.

I would like to meet with you in person to see how we could be of mutual benefit to each other. I believe with my skills in Software Development and Project Management we can make serious inroads in cloud computing. As Gartner predicted 80% of all small to medium sized business will be using cloud computing before 2020. In South Africa the spend in cloud computing is estimated to be over R100 billion in the next five years.
Working together will be very rewarding to us both.

Kind regards
