Throughout this year the discussion around what post-lockdown work will look like has been passed around and predicted repeatedly. As we start to see some light at the end of the tunnel in Level 1, what is the future of work and what should we be prepared for?
One thing we know for sure is that returning back to the office does NOT mean the end of remote work.
Buffer and AngelList surveyed 3500 people regarding remote work to create their report, The State of Remote Work 2020.
One of the most unanimous results came from the question “Would you like to work remotely, at least some of the time, for the rest of your career?”. The results highlighted an outstanding majority at 98%.
If the “new normal” means continued remote work in a less-restricted environment, that means the requirement is being able to manage multiple users working across various locations and various times and on multiple devices.
Utilizing a solution like Citrix SD-WAN, means that you can deploy a fast, secure, VPN-less network that creates agility for your company and its employees with reduced down-time and frustrations.
The approach to heading back to the office may have some tricky obstacles including employee readiness as well as ensuring the relevant safety protocols are in place.
Citrix has developed a “Back to Work” guide that covers how to navigate through uncertain times and successfully manage the various challenges that come with this new phase.
